As part of our Cuba Bird Survey hosted by Partnership for International Birding and Naturalist Journeys, we found 4 Piping Plover, one of those banded, who apparently was banded as a chick at Malbay South, New Brunswick Canada on July 12, 2017.Â

Cuba Ornithological Study January We just completed another amazing tour, full of birds and joy. We spend a whole week birding in Cuba taking photos of owls and woodpeckers, our main focus was on the Cuban Pygmy-Owl (Glaucidium siju) and Cuban Green Woodpecker (Xiphidiopicus percussus) although we took a lot of species.Â

Cuba Ornithological Study As usual, we had a great time full of joy, entertainment, and birds, while we survey the island. Only that this time we encounter ourself with a few nice birds like; Eastern Kingbird, Eastern Wood-Pewee, and many others, we manage to explore the island right after the hurricane and conduct our Cuba Ornithological Survey with no problem or whatsoever.
